During the overnight trip, the bandmates managed to squeeze in a visit to Niagara Falls. “There comes a time when we get to see Niagara Falls,” marveled Jimin, thanking the program for the opportunity.

“It’s the only waterfall I know the name of,” said J-Hope.

The seven boys followed the sound of the water. Then, when the cascade appeared in front of them, they were awestruck. “This is what you call a sight of wonder,” said J-Hope.

“No wonder it is one of the best three waterfalls in the world,” added RM.

The group then went to a Korean-Canadian restaurant for braised spicy chicken and pizza. They discussed ideas for dinner and decided on pancakes, with RM saying he would take on the challenge. Suga volunteered to help, and all seven went to a supermarket to get the ingredients.

Nayeon of Twice turns into mermaid for “Fancy” MV

Nayeon of Twice took fans behind the scenes on “Twice TV” to see the filming of a recent music video for her song “Fancy.”

Nayeon was baffled when she realized that she had to make it to a small podium surrounded by water. Safely carried by her manager, though, the performer was serene and natural against the blue chroma backdrop.

“I’ve filmed using chroma before. ‘TT’ was our first time and ‘Yes or Yes’ used the technique as well. But this time, most of the scenes will be filmed with chroma and I’m curious about the outcome,” she said between takes.

When the cameras began rolling again, the petite vocalist began to imagine herself as a mermaid as suggested by the director, singing “Under the Sea” from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”

For the second act, Nayeon showed how professional she was by happily splashing around in what actually was frigid water that left her whole body shivering.

“They are the rising indie band dominating local streaming charts here in Korea,” explained reporter Yim Hyun-soo, introducing the musicians behind the album “Legend.”

Their “psychedelic rock” music is quite different from that of idols, very sentimental and very retro, said reporter Ahn Sung-mi.

“Retro is quite popular now in Korea, not just in music, so the timing was right,” added Yim.

“It was actually at No. 1 on Melon’s streaming chart, leaving behind the likes of BTS, Blackpink and Twice. That really goes to show how popular they are at the moment,” commented Yim as the lead single, titled “For Lovers Who Hesitate,” played in the background.

As for the band’s unusual name, which means “monkey,” Ahn explained the mystery for curious fans.

“All five members are good friends who grew up in the same neighborhood and were born in 1992, the Year of the Monkey.”

“I’m in Kobe, Japan, for a fan meetup scheduled for tomorrow. I just woke up from a short nap and am still slightly puzzled, but I’m excited about finally unveiling my vlogs as promised,” said the performer also known for his interest in food.

“Please be forgiving since all the entries are made and edited by me, and I am far less skilled than many vloggers,” he said.

“The first one to be uploaded, later, at 7 p.m., will be a video I made while visiting Texas last month,” said Yunhyeong of the YouTube videos -- which he calls “Songchelin Guide,” a name that combines his family name with that of the prestigious Michelin guide for gourmets.

“I can’t fix a date for uploading but I will make sure that I let you know before each entry through either my Instagram or V Live channel. For a while, though, I think I might be able to float one vlog a week,” he said.
