BTS’ much-anticipated concert at Wembley Stadium in London will be livestreamed globally on Naver’s streaming service, V Live, the portal giant said April 29.

Naver will stream the first day of the two-day concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. on June 1 (UK time), which is 3:30 a.m. in South Korea, via V Live+, the platform’s paid service.

“We have decided to exclusively livestream BTS’ global concert for more fans to enjoy,” said Park Sun-young, who heads Naver V Live. “We will do our best with technology to deliver (the service) so that (the viewers) can enjoy the performance as if they were at the site, as well as provide excellent content on V Live.”

Naver also livestreamed BTS’ one-hour special earlier this month from New York City to promote its new album “Map of the Soul: Persona.” The show set a record for the streaming platform by garnering more than 10 million views and more than 800 million heart emoji -- the equivalent of Facebook “likes.”

BTS’ Wembley show sold out within 90 minutes after ticket sales opened, prompting the stadium to add a second date June 2.

Wembley Stadium, which seats 90,000, is among the world’s largest sports and concert venues. It is well known for hosting legendary acts such as the Beatles and Queen. In 1985 it was the venue for the famous Live Aid concert.

BTS is the first Korean band to play there.

The concert is part of BTS’ world tour concert series, “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself,” which kicks off on May 4 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. The septet plans to hit major stadiums in eight cities in the US, Brazil, the UK, France and Japan.

It will cost about 33,000 won ($28.48) to enjoy the livestreamed concert and replay it later. The fee, 1,500 V Live coins, can be paid via the website or the mobile app.
