“We are just resting in our hotel room and will probably watch Netflix,” said JB when a fan asked what they had been doing.

“We are very well,” said Yugyeom. “I am not tired but my nose is stuffy and it’s giving me a headache,” he added when fans expressed concern that he did not look well.

Although fans asked for a heads-up on their schedule, they said, “We have no idea when the concert will be yet.”

The duo said their performance on that day had gone well.

“It will be our last day in Japan tomorrow already,” said Yugyeom, to which JB added they will continue the remaining leg of their tour by performing four times in Jakarta, Bangkok and Singapore.

Although she had known they were planning the event, she was still surprised by the glitzy decorations.

After Ryujin had blown out the candles on a cake, Chaeryeong asked how it felt celebrating her 19th birthday.

“Oh my, this is the last birthday before I really become a grownup,” said Ryujin.

“Let’s drink milk to cheer you up,” suggested Yuna, making everyone laugh.

Yeji then showed their selection of bread that included the birthday girl’s favorite mocha bun, adding, “We were more concerned about finding this than choosing the cake.”

The group’s leader wished her good health while Lia commented on how pretty Ryujin is and thanked her for being part of the band.

Chaeryeong spoke about how she and Ryujin had spent a long time together as trainees and wished they would make more memories from now on. Yuna thanked Ryujin for being at her side.

The nine bandmates apologized for going live late at night, 11 p.m. for their fans in Korea.

“It’s 10 a.m. here but we had our reasons. ‘Awaken’ is out!” said the band while distributing the albums among themselves.

The bandmates expressed excitement over their first full Japanese album while flipping through the accompanying booklet. Other members stopped Johnny -- “No spoilers!” -- from revealing details of the new release.

To pacify eagerly waiting fans, NCT 127 decided each member would pick a favorite picture and share it with viewers.

Taeyong went first, choosing the one on the back cover, while Haechan shared one of himself “staring at something.” “I was working really hard to lose some weight,” admitted Haechan after silencing Yuta who commented that he looked slim.

“It is a great album. We will do our best so that we will not lose our color for our fans but at the same time can appeal to a wider public,” said Jeongyeon.

“It still is full of energy and upbeat as usual but I want to show different sides, more cool and confident,” pledged Tsuyu.

“This is the beginning of 2019 for us, and ‘Fancy’ will signal a change for the group. I want people to see that we can do more than being our energetic, bouncy selves. Not that I do not like being those but I still want to demonstrate there is more,” said Chaeyoung.

Dahyun and Jihyo were more playful, talking while eating. “Nayeon will work out and try to get six-pack abs, so please keep an eye out!” said Jihyo.
