“I know it’s late but I wanted to keep my promise to come to you once every week,” said Stray Kids’ Bang Chan, going live at “almost” midnight for the 13th episode of his solo show on Naver’s V Live.

“I have to do some stuff, but first I wanted to spend some time with you guys,” said the leader, striking a cute pose to appeal to fans. “I like my hair today. It’s braided and here is a new color. I do look more wolfish, no?”

Saying it had been a week since Stray Kids returned with “Cle 1: Miroh,” “I am so happy to meet you again. It was a wee bit awkward, though, but in a good way,” said Bang Chan on the band’s first signing session for the new album.

“It is spring but the weather is so unpredictable. Still feel a little cold and maybe that’s why I listen to gentle music these days,” he said, recommending Lauv’s “Never Not” to keep fans warm.

NCT 127 wraps up 1st Japan tour

NCT 127 thanked fans for their enthusiastic response after their final performance of the group’s first Japan tour, titled “Neo City: Japan -- The Origin.”

“We have learned a new (Japanese) expression: koukainaiyouni,” which roughly translates into “so as not to regret,” said Johnny, adding he personally thinks they did their best.

“I was so moved again from seeing our passionate fans. All of us are,” said Jaehyun.

“My voice has gone hoarse from the concert, but I want it to be hoarser,” said Taeil working up the group to sing to the fans on V Live.

The nine-member unit of NCT has hit seven cities, performing 14 times in front of a total of 74,000 concertgoers in Japan since February. The final performance held at Saitama Super Arena on Sunday lasted 2 1/2 hours, showcasing 28 songs, and was broadcast live through local streaming platform Abema TV.

IU pulls off April Fool’s Day joke

IU enjoyed the spirit of April Fool’s Day with her fans, poking fun at herself.

The singer-songwriter was left to herself to edit her own videos when the producer of IU TV walked away after she mildly complained there should at least be two videos uploaded every month.

“We are always working into wee hours and when you see us leaving the office, you ask us why,” the producer protested.

Quickly recovering from the shock, IU tried her hand at editing the clips herself, starting with the logo for the show and stumbling on her first objective of finding her favorite color -- purple -- in the tools. Unwavering, she recorded an impromptu hum for background music and managed to make an assortment of clips showing her sharing a meal with staff in Singapore.

IU held a concert in Singapore in December to celebrate 10 years since her official debut.

ITZY goes to Tokyo for Twice concert

Girl group ITZY shared some feelings after watching Twice perform live at Tokyo Dome.

“We had so much to learn ... and the stage was so big that they looked like tiny dolls,” said Yeji, as the bandmates expressed their awe at the senior K-pop girl group’s performance.

“We have been to other concerts before but seeing the dome, it was different somehow,” said Lia.

“When all the fans lit up their star-shaped sticks, I had a lump in my throat,” added Chaeryeong.

The bandmates thanked Twice for the opportunity to see the concert in person and celebrated their first visit to the city as a unit. “It was my first time on an airplane!” exclaimed leader Yeji.

What brought an even bigger smile to their faces, though, was the food they had scrounged up at a convenience store. “On our way back to the hotel, we brought these!” said Ryujin, as she was already helping herself and her bandmates showed off their late-night snacks, including instant noodles, a rice ball and sweets.
