BTS has released a trailer for its new album “Map of the Soul: Persona” featuring its leader RM rapping.

The rapper gave fans a taste of the upcoming album by rapping amid an eye-catching array of scenes.

The album will be released around the globe on April 12. The band will make its first appearance on the NBC show “Saturday Night Live” on April 13 local time, with Emma Stone, a self-acknowledged fan of the genre, hosting the episode.

The group will be the first K-pop band to perform on the program.

BTS has stayed on Billboard’s albums chart for 30 weeks since entering the chart at No. 1 in September last year.

Stray Kids visit leader’s home in Australia

Stray Kids had a full day of fun and bonding visiting Sydney in the second episode of their first reality show, “Found Stray Kids.”

Bang Chan planned a day trip for his bandmates that started with a visit to Sydney Zoo, as Lee Know had wished for.

Their eyes widened at the sight of a baby kangaroo being fed, and everyone was happy when they got to pet them. “This is my first time seeing a koala,” said Hyunjin at the sight of the cuddly animals.

The leader and Felix, also raised in Australia, brought the members to their favorite eat-out spots in the Australian city of Strathfield for a snack. The nine bandmates also had a peaceful time at a park where Bang Chan used to hang out before a surprise invitation for dinner at his parents’ house.

They were moved by the delicious BBQ that had been prepared but more so by their leader, who wanted his bandmates -- his new family -- to meet his parents in person. “I wanted you to see where I come from,” he said.

Tiffany talks about her solo life

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany has gone solo, releasing her first solo EP, “Lips on Lips,” last month. “I’ve won a new artist award!” said the singer, who received it from the sixth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards in the US two weeks ago.

The Girls’ Generation member has headed to America as Tiffany Young, pushing herself and her boundaries. “I wanted to start fresh. To let go of what I already have established and learn as much as I can in the shortest time possible,” she said.

While admitting that it is difficult to take a new path, the artist stresseed that it is worth it. “It is very rewarding when my music can soothe somebody when they are going through a hard time, hurting,” the singer said.

Tiffany turned 30 this year, and she now wants to appeal to a wider fan base. “I want to be of strength to all women, not just girls. I aspire to be an artist who can be sure of herself and encourage others. I also want to communicate with, and to form a thick bond, with those who have grown up with me,” said the singer.

Pentagon shares more ways to enjoy new song

Pentagon came up with its own ideas for fans to enjoy “Sha La La,” the title song from its new EP, “Genie:us.”

Getting their groove on with the song full of strong beats, the nine bandmates demonstrated chants and chorus parts for fans so that they can show their support and enhance the group’s performance together.

“We have tried this ourselves and made a series of changes to perfect it so please practice together,” said Pentagon.

Hui wrote and composed five songs including “Sha La La” for the six-track EP.

The 2 1/2-year-old band’s eight EP was unveiled Wednesday, and it held a showcase in Seoul on the same day. However, Kino, who created a song for the EP, could not go onstage, as he hurt his leg two months ago while practicing dance moves.
