The 10-member unit of NCT will perform at the Saitama Super Arena for three days, wrapping up its first tour of Japan. The tour, which started in February, entailed stops in six cities and a final performance March 31 that will be aired live on Japan’s Ameba TV. The band scheduled an extra performance after tickets sold out too fast.

“This is our first time performing in Saitama. We’ll be there early to prepare and put on our best show,” said Taeyong as the camera followed him onto the escalator.

The team’s debut EP in Japan, “Chain,” topped Billboard Japan’s album sales chart and Oricon’s weekly album chart upon its release in May last year. Its first full album, “Awaken,” will go on sale in April. NCT127 will also begin a 12-performance North American tour, visiting 11 cities in the US and Canada from April to May.

The singer just turned 30 and is embarking on a collaborative project with other artists her age, produced by veteran singer Yoon Jong-shin to mark a music career that spans three decades.

Looking embarrassed when asked in front of Yoon for a comment on turning 30, the former idol cautiously said she feels the need to take better care of herself. The singer-producer, however, said 30 is the prime age.

“I’ve been feeling uncertain, confused, these days,” said Taeyeon. “Trying to figure out who I am. But these words give me courage.”

Yoon also thanked Taeyeon, who made her solo debut in 2015 and whose recent single “Four Seasons,” released last weekend, has topped eight music charts.

Taeyeon said she had wanted to work with Yoon, whose monthly projects have become a staple.

“Taeyeon gave me a hopeful sign” that they might someday work together “but did not contact me for five years,” joked Yoon.

The artists will reinterpret songs from 1989 and release their works in April, May and June.

Thanking everyone, the singer-actor confessed that he had yet to take in his new post-Army life. “I may realize tomorrow morning when I wake up from my own bed … if I don’t hear the sound of a horn,” he said, smiling.

He will resume his career with a starring role in OCN’s new drama “Others Are Hell,” which is scheduled to air in the latter half of this year. “It was amazing as some of my fellow soldiers mentioned the original webtoon, saying that I would make a good character. And I really got the part,” said Yim.

The former idol, a member of the nine-piece boy band ZE:A, has been an actor since 2010. He started with a special appearance and, after a series of strong supporting roles, made his name with “Misaeng.” The movie “The Merciless,” a brutal crime thriller in which Yim co-starred with Sol Kyung-gu, was shown at a 2017 midnight screening at Cannes.

In keeping with the theme of love, all six songs -- including title song “L.O.V.E” --portray feelings of innocence, joy and passion. Intro track “The Beginning Of …” hails a new beginning to his fans and “Young 20,” produced by fellow Wanna One alumnus Lee Dae-hwi, talks about Park’s fan club, “May.”

Of all the singers from the boy band, born out of the survival audition program “Produce 101,” Park is the third to strike out on his own. Although he is happy “fans can see me from the beginning to the end,” he said with a laugh, “it can also be lonely.” The idol has been known for his cute image so far, but for his solo debut he chose a “cool and mysterious” vibe.

The singer will also expand his horizons by appearing on JTBC’s Joseon-era drama as part of the main trio and a fashionista. The drama will air in September.
