K-pop boy band BTS is set to appear on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on April 13, and will perform some new songs live for the first time in an episode hosted by actress Emma Stone, according to Big Hit Entertainment on March 14.

The septet’s much-anticipated album “Map of the Soul: Persona” will be released April 12.

BTS will be the first K-pop band to grace the coveted stage of “SNL,” one of the most popular comedy shows in the US.

The band picked the occasion of the 2018 Billboard Music Awards in May to deliver its first live performance of “Fake Love,” shortly after the release of the album “Love Yourself: Tear.”

Stone has spoken of her love of K-pop. “It’s a global phenomenon. It’s beyond excellent. It’s the best thing you’ve ever seen,” she told late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien in 2015.
