To celebrate his birthday, which fell Saturday, Suga of BTS took to V Live to thank fans and talk about the group’s upcoming activities.

Sitting in his studio, he told fans, “I didn’t do anything special on my birthday. I practiced, worked on new songs, had a meal with my family, and my older brother made me seaweed soup.”

The BTS rapper also shared an episode on how he got to participate in the production of Epik High’s new album, titled “sleepless in __________,” set to be released Monday.

“When I was in Japan, maybe Tokyo or Osaka, for concerts, Tablo of Epik High asked me to make him a new song. So I immediately worked on it and completed it in two days. Tablo also told me he liked the song,” he said.

After talking about BTS’ upcoming stadium world tour series, “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself,” he wrapped up the broadcast, saying, “I think (my schedule) got busier and more hectic in 2019. I just realized that it’s now March a few days ago. I actually didn’t have much feeling about my birthday, but I’m glad that so many people congratulated me. See you next time.”

NCT fans got a sneak peek at the group’s new songs as Taeyong revealed some details on Naver’s V Live.

Clad in a comfortable-looking outfit, the band leader delivered the broadcast from his studio, saying, “I’m here at a studio to work with composers for our new songs’ session parts. I will let you hear some of their tunes later, when the composer arrives.”

The composer -- Royal Dive, who’s worked with artists like Taemin of SHINee, Wanna One and NU’EST -- joined the broadcast and the two played some parts of the new song together, including the intro.

Looking happy with the new songs, Taeyong wrapped up the broadcast saying he was also set to make a guest appearance at TVXQ’s Seoul concert on Sunday.

Nichkhun greets fans in Thailand

Nichkhun, a Thai-American and member of the band 2PM, released a video about his recent activities in Thailand.

The short video shows the singer talking to fans before attending the first solo fan meeting for GOT7’s BamBam, who is also from Thailand.

“I will be appearing as BamBam’s surprise guest at the event. We will be singing ‘Hands Up’ together. 2PM’s songs are definitely difficult to sing due to their high notes,” he said.

The clip also featured Nichkhun performing at an opening ceremony for an annual soccer event.

Nichkhun recently released his first solo album, “ME,” which features nine tracks, all composed and written in English by Nichkhun himself.

Dahyun, Momo, Sana and Tzuyu put on aprons and made rice balls.

In a video shared via V Live, the four girls are seen making different kinds of rice balls.

When asked if they cooked often in their daily lives, the bandmates said Tzuyu had recently started cooking.

“I don’t cook that often, but I’ve been doing it to show our fans,” Tzuyu said.

Prior to this comeback in April, Twice will embark on its “TWICE DOME TOUR 2019 #Dreamday” in Japan. The group will perform at the Kyocera Concert Dome from March 20-21, the Tokyo Dome from March 29-30 and the Nagoya Dome on April 6.
