“A good opportunity came along. I am in JTBC’s upcoming one-act TV drama ‘Way To Hate You (literal translation)’,” the 18-year-old K-pop singer said, livestreaming from inside a moving vehicle.

“I have finished today’s shooting, ate dinner and am now riding home,” he said.

Asked how it felt to try acting for the first time, he said: “You get to live a different person’s life. It is fascinating.”

The upcoming drama, set to air in late March, is based on a webtoon series of the same title that tells about the love and friendship of college freshmen.

Jaemin plays the male lead Han Daegang who in the webtoon has facial hair.

“I am not going to give you any spoilers,” he said, refusing to answer questions from viewers.

“One thing I can tell you is (Han Daegang) is not like me.”
