Clumsy BTS members frustrate ‘teacher’ Suga

Music proved to be the most difficult subject for the pupils at the “BTS school” and a source of great frustration for teacher Suga.

In the latest episode of “Run BTS!” -- a web variety show featuring the popular K-pop boy band -- classmates RM, V, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin and J-Hope tried their hand at a new instrument.

Their task was to play “The Celebrated Chop Waltz” on handbells.

The six bandmates were divided into two teams and had to play the song by looking at sheet music.

“Look at the sheet music! Read it before you play!” a frustrated Suga said repeatedly as his pupils continued making mistakes.

In the end, Suga had to lower his standards. “Just play something that sounds like ‘The Celebrated Chop Waltz’ and I’ll pass you.”

But the players still had fun in class, laughing at each other’s clumsiness.

It was the team of Jungkook, Jimin and J-Hope that won the game after managing to play the tune, albeit in the team’s own tempo.

Former 2NE1 member Park Bom created a V Live channel on Tuesday, apparently getting ready for a comeback to the K-pop scene after the act’s disbandment in 2016.

Ahn Yu-jin anchors “IZ*One News” update

“Hello, everyone. This is Ahn Yu-jin of IZ*One News,” Ahn said.

“There will be reporters joining me today to deliver the news.”

Die-hard IZ*One fans already knew the “news,” though.

The first bit of news, delivered by Yabuki Nako, Honda Hitomi and Lee Chaeyeon, was the band’s Feb. 6 debut in Japan.

“IZ*One’s debut single ‘Suki to Iwasetai’ took the top spot on Oricon’s daily singles chart,” Chaeyeon said.

The second news item was Ahn’s middle school graduation and Kim Chaewon’s high school graduation.

The third was that the act was recruiting members for its global fan club.
