K-pop act SF9 tuned into V live on Wednesday to celebrate its member Kang Chan-hee’s birthday with their fans.

Chan-hee, who is taking to acting these days, said it was his first broadcast on the V app in two months.

Chan-hee appears in one of Korea’s most popular TV drama series, “Sky Castle,” a dark mystery satirizing the nation’s obsession with eduction.

The members teased around with Kang, calling him by his character name “Woo-joo.”

As Chan-hee began to read out birthday messages from their fans on the comments, the light suddenly went out and Hwiyoung entered the room
carrying a cake with lighted candles.

The bandmates smudged cream on to Chan-hee’s face as he blew out the candles.

The members play around, reading out comments from fans and singing songs and dancing.

Chan-hee thanked his fans for sending so many happy birthday messages.
