BTS plays games in latest episode of "Run BTS!"

In the latest episode of “Run BTS!,” released Tuesday, the seven bandmates of the wildly popular K-pop group played games based on their knowledge of their own songs, which turned out far more difficult than they imagined.

In the 59th episode of the web variety show, uploaded to the act’s official V Live channel, BTS members gathered in a hotel room to play games.

Before they started, they split into three teams using the ultimate decision-making tool: rock-paper-scissors.

RM and Jin were on one team, V and Jimin on another and the remaining three -- Suga, Jungkook and J-Hope -- formed the third team.

“It’s been a while since we split like this,” said J-Hope, expressing excitement.

The members then decided on team names; RM and Jin named themselves Bba, V and Jimin chose Jji and Suga’s team decided to call themselves the Kim Seok-jin Team. Kim Seok-jin is Jin’s real name.

Flustered, Jin complained loudly, but the game started anyway.

The first game seemed easy and simple: They were supposed to figure out a song of their own hidden in a noisy mix of different sounds.

It turned out to be extremely difficult, and many of the members seemed clueless.

A confused Jin kept getting his team name wrong, sparking laughter among the bandmates.

When all 10 rounds of the game were over, the three teams had the same number of points, resulting in a three-way tie.

The second game also involved their own songs.

The task was to sing English lyrics from a BTS song in Korean.

The tricky part was that they had to find Korean words for simple English words commonly used in Korea such as DNA, fans, club, and party.

This game again proved difficult. Jimin couldn’t get it right for “When you say that you love me” from “Best Of Me,” a part he sings.

“I didn’t know there is so much English in our songs,” RM said.

The first to go live was Youngjae who opened the broadcast saying “I am hungry.”

The singer, holding his pet dog Coco in his arms, casually chatted with fans on various topics.

As the topic moved to GOT7’s fifth-year anniversary, which is Wednesday, he played “Girls, Girls, Girls” from the act’s debut album.

Youngjae revealed that while recording the song, he got an earful from the producer, which made him work harder and helped him to become who he is today.

“When I sang this, the producer seemed so unsatisfied. He told me that because of me, we just might not make it to our debut,” he said.

“Looking back, I think I needed someone who could give me advice in such an honest way. Thanks to him, I made more efforts and could grow faster.”

In a separate broadcast about six hours later, bandmate Mark went live on V from his home in Seoul.

“I watched a movie with Bam Bam and another friend and am now home,” he said.

“My friend is the DJ right now,” he said, asking his friend to play some songs requested by viewers.

“In two hours, it’s GOT7’s fifth-year anniversary, guys,” said the Korean-American member of the septet.

“Thank you for spending your time with me tonight. Thank you for staying with GOT7 for five years. Hope to see you soon,” he said in English at the end of the livestream.
