K-pop duo MXM’s Kim Dong-hyun released a video clip with a special birthday cake via V Live, uploaded Thursday night.

He made a birthday cake for the first time to celebrate bandmate Im Young-min on Christmas Eve last year.

In the V Live broadcast from a kitchen, Kim had a lesson from a teacher on making the cake with a Christmas theme, full of the white and red points that Im likes.

Wearing a sky-blue apron with cake images, he focused on preparing the cake while talking to fans following along.

“Since Young-min and I like a simple style. I will go simple. Well, I like it for sure,” he said.

After making a birthday cake, Kim went out to celebrate his bandmate’s birthday.

“Him making a cake for me is very meaningful ... I really like the red flower decorations he made,” said Im.
