IU sent New Year’s greetings to her fans on the first day of 2019 in a one-minute message on V Live.

The singer-songwriter and actress showed off her flawless skin in the message on her channel, titled “2019 Season’s Greetings.”

“I hope you have a good day today. You’ll have to spend today well in order to drum up excitement for the rest of this year and get off to a good start, making sure things this year go (according) to plan,” the singer said.

Wearing bright-red lipstick with shimmering eye shadow that played up her doe eyes, the multitalented entertainer addressed members of her fan club, “Uaena,” which she mentioned repeatedly throughout the message.

“I’ll make sure to do things that will make you smile so that great things happen (for) Uaena this year,” she said as she put her hands together in the shape of a heart.
