"Millions" was inspired by fans’ love of Winner, says member Kang Seungyoon

Kang Seungyoon, the band’s leader, revealed fans had inspired him to write “Millions,” a tropical pop dance track with lyrics about “millions” of reasons to love someone.

“This may come off like we’re trying to say something to appease fans, but I got the idea from the ways fans react to us,” he said.

“Fans seem to love even tiny details about us, like Jinwoo’s fingers, tendons or the skin color of my elbows. Thinking that they like us for reasons that we have never thought about, I realized that there should be so many reasons for anyone to be loved,” he said.

Kang co-composed the song with Kang Uk-jin, and Diggy and also co-wrote the lyrics with bandmates and rappers Song Minho and Lee Seunghoon.

The 4-minute clip, the eighth in the series of the behind the making of “First Sight” music video series, captures the singer as she gets her makeup done for the shoot. It was uploaded to her official V Live channel Wednesday.

As the makeup artist explained the look -- silver glittery eye shadows and red lips -- Heize said, “I have a deep, genuine respect for her. She created my signature eye lines and the so-called ‘Heize eye makeup.’”

She went on to praise her hair and fashion team, saying that the three -- hair, makeup and fashion -- are in perfect sync for the music video and for that she is so thankful.

Kim Jun-su goes on V after double performance of musical “Elisabeth”

Singer-musical actor Kim Jun-su turned on the V app on his way home Wednesday after performing the musical “Elisabeth” twice in a day.

“Today I have a double performance -- one at 3 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m. It was my first time doing it,” he said inside a moving vehicle.

Kim, who is a member of K-pop trio JYJ, said when on a musical run, he finds it hard to communicate with fans. “It’s partly because I am immersed into my role and also because I think I need to rest as much as possible for the next performance.”

“But today, I thought why not? It might be good to have a little chat with fans on my way home,” he continued.

Kim stars as “Der Todd” or The Death, in the local production of the musical “Elisabeth.”

He also talked about what captivates him as a musical actor.

“Backstage, when the lights go off, staff busily remove props and change the set, while actors and actresses get their costumes changed with the help of other staff and prepare for the next scene until the very last minute. And the moment the lights are on, we start right off with the lines or songs. Being part of all this is just an overwhelming experience,” he said.
