“We’re doing an arena tour in Japan and at the same time have to come back to Korea to shoot the music video and the (upcoming) album’s jacket photos and practice the new songs,” she said through tears in the video, which she said was shot Oct. 5.

“The members are struggling a lot. I want to give them strength,” she said.

The clip, titled “Twice TV 2018 Ep. 14,” was uploaded to the act’s official V Live channel on Tuesday and kicked off with Jeongyeon shopping for gifts for her bandmates to celebrate the three-year anniversary of their debut.

In the next scene, she is in a practice room at her company checking the gifts -- simple black necklaces that had arrived the same day.

“I have never given gifts to my bandmates,” she said.

Jeongyeon planned to unveil her presents at a fan meeting scheduled for Oct. 28, she said.

That’s when she burst into tears, saying she wanted to give strength to her bandmates at a tough time.

Twice toured nine cities in Japan from late September through mid-October and on Nov. 5 released a new album titled “Yes or Yes.” Then, on Dec. 12, the nine-member act dropped “The Year of Yes,” its fourth album this year.

The video, uploaded to the act’s V Live channel on Tuesday, captures the members making jokes and enjoying each other’s company while waiting. Lee Changsub played a game with bandmate Yook Sungjae and ended up getting the name of bandmate Seo Eun-kwang (now serving in the military) written on his face.

The band was recognized as one of the top 10 for the first time.

“This is the first time that we were included. Thank you so much,” Jung Il-hoon said.
