Mino of Winner, who has been extending a winning streak with his first solo work “Fiance,” invited fans behind the scenes of his recent gig on “Inkigayo” and a fan meeting.

In a clip uploaded to Winner’s V Live channel, Mino can be seen in the wee hours having his makeup done, about 13 hours before recording for the SBS music show. Though still sleepy, the singer took selfies for fans, collectively called Inner Circle, thanking them for waiting for him outside.

“I heard that you guys have been waiting for me out there. So I gave out some pastries, but they might have gotten cold. I wonder if they’ve warmed up (the pastries),” said Mino.

The clip went on to feature Mino trying the “Inkigayo” sandwich for the first time, which recently went viral on social media.

“Since it’s hard to unwrap, it tastes better when you finally do it,” he said.

After a few bites, he continued, “If you see the ingredients, you can imagine how it will taste, but this combination is unbelievable.”

Asked to score the sandwich, he answered, “Out of five, I will give 4.5. Since I can’t share it with my fans, as the sandwich is only available here, that’s why I took off 0.5 point.”

After wrapping up recording for “Inkigayo,” Mino greets fans at an event in Seoul. Surrounded by crowds of screaming fans, he spent quality time with them by taking joint selfies and shaking hands.

“As I’ve always been with my bandmates at this kind of event, coming here alone feels so different today,” he said.

The video ends with Mino promising fans, “I will wrap up the rest of my solo promotion successfully and continue Winner with another grand return.”
