Winner to wrap up the year with a new single

K-pop act Winner will end 2018 by returning with a new single track.

Representing the act, YG Entertainment released a teaser poster featuring the phrase, “Winner Coming Soon” via its official blog on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Winner is returning after eight-month hiatus since its last album “EveryD4y” in April.

“Winner’s third LP will be postponed to after the group’s world tour ends in February 2019 as many InnerCircle (official fanclub name) requested,” said the chief of YG Entertainment Monday. “Instead, Winner will release a single to present InneerCircles a happy year-end.”

Recently, member Mino surprised the fans by releasing a solo full album “XX” on Nov. 26 which reigned the local streaming sites for over a week.

Originally debuted as five-piece act, Winner became a group of four in 2016 as member Nam Tae-hyun left the group. Winner is continuing its activities with the four members releasing megahit tracks including “Really Really.”
