BTS drummed up anticipation for SBS’s upcoming music awards show “Gayo Daejeon” which will take place on Christmas Day while on “Inkigayo.”

While appearing on the weekly music program, members of the group turned into music awards show gurus for a moment, introducing the full line up of artists for the “2018 Gayo Daejeon.”

This year’s line-up boasts a long list of popular acts including Red Velvet, Twice, Black Pink, who were introduced by Jungkook.
Up next was J-Hope who added BTOB, GFriend, NCT, Momoland to the list, further teasing the awards show.

V introduced Winner, Seventeen, and Monsta X, before Jimin added Sunmi, Apink and Mamamoo.

Suga revealed GOT7, iKON and Wanna One as part of the line-up before RM finished it off by introducing EXO and his own group BTS.

This year’s Gayo Daejeon will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome and is scheduled to air live on Dec. 25.

As the title “The Wave” suggests, this year’s show will look back on the numerous records broken by K-pop artists in their prime and the recent trends in K-pop.
