The new act comes for the first time in six years at the record label that has managed BTS since the group’s formation.

The group will have five members, according to the label’s statement Tuesday morning. Other details have not been revealed.

BTS renewed its contract with Big Hit Entertainment for another seven years on Oct. 18, citing “deep trust and cordiality” between both parties as the reason behind the renewal.

Big Hit Entertainment was established in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk, who branched off from JYP Entertainment after having worked as a producer and composer at the firm since the beginning of his career in show business.
