Actress Shin Se-kyung reaffirmed her zero-tolerance stance on spycam crimes during a public appearance on Monday.

Shin, who fell victim to a spycam crime in September, spoke out for the first time since the experience during a press conference for the upcoming variety show “Pocha Beyond Borders.”

“Regardless of the data (content), I find the intention and the purpose alone deeply wrong. Because of the hurt it caused me and my family, I have no intention to let this go,” Shin said.

The actress also said she thinks society needs to be aware of illegal filming and the resultant harm, before adding that she hopes to see a society where perpetrators are brought to justice and victims completely protected.

“More than anything, the show is the result of a great amount of effort from the cast and the staff. I hope our efforts to share fun (with the viewers) come to fruition,” Shin added.

In September, a spycam was discovered in the room where Shin and Apink’s Yoon Bo-mi were staying during shooting for “Pocha Beyond Borders.”

It was soon revealed that the camera had been installed by a male employee from an outsourced company in charge of setting up cameras for the shoot. Shin found the camera.

The case is currently being handled by the prosecution.
