The top-rated esports player’s encounter with the Red Velvet stars has become one of the highly anticipated events of the show, even before its airing on Monday, as he has said on previous occasions that he is a fan of the girl group.

A photo of Joy handing Lee a box of chocolate-dipped snacks on the set went viral online, leading many to believe that Red Velvet’s appearance may be the reason behind his decision to guest star on the show.

The mid-laner of the SK Telecom T1 team had a wide grin across his face after being gifted the snacks.

The episode starring the Red Velvet duo and Faker will air Monday at 11 p.m. on KBS.
