EXO Chanyeol’s older sister, who is a news anchor for Korean media outlet YTN, shared what it’s like to have a younger brother who is part of one of the most popular K-pop acts worldwide.

During a recent YouTube broadcast by YTN, Chanyeol’s sister opened up on the topic.

As a newscaster, Park recently reported about EXO’s feat with its latest album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.”

Her delivery tone was calm as usual, but fans have been speculating about how proud and delighted she must have been while breaking the news.

Park recalled the moment as rather worrisome, saying, “The first thing I thought was that I shouldn’t make a mistake while delivering the news, since if I do so, it would get viral.”

She also shared a casual conversation with her sibling. Park had asked the EXO member if he watches her presenting the news, and Chanyeol replied, “How can I watch your show when I don’t even have time to watch shows I star in?”

She went on to comment on Chanyeol’s recent performance at her wedding in Seoul, where he sang Coldplay’s “Everglow.”

“I wasn’t aware of the song at first, but my brother told me to chew on the lyrics, which I found very touching,” she added.

EXO recently became the third K-pop act to score a top 40 album on the Billboard 200 with “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo,” which is led by the track “Tempo.”
