Rookie girl group IZ*ONE revealed the behind-the-scenes of photo shoots for the jacket of its album “Color*IZ,” released on Oct. 29.

Although the groupmates commented that posing in front of the camera still felt awkward, they showed their brightest smiles.

“It’s our first jacket photo shoot after debuting as a member of IZ*ONE,” said Yena. “I’m really nervous and there are a lot of thoughts going through my mind.”

“Every member has their signature color in this album,” Minju said of the photo shoot. “I got the color white so I’ll do my best to express white rose this time.”

The group’s official debut EP “Color*IZ” released on Oct. 29 topped not only the local music charts but Japan’s Oricon weekly chart and multiple countries’ iTunes K-pop charts.

IZ*ONE, the project group formed with the contestants of the music audition program “Produce 48,” is composed of the 12 highest ranking members from the show: Jang Won Young, Miyawaki Sakura, Honda Hitomi, Kwon Eun-bi, Kim Minjoo, Lee Chaeyeon, Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, Kim Chaewon, Jo Yuri, Ahn Yujin and Yabuki Nako.
