Wanna One drops teaser for “Spring Breeze”

Wanna One dropped a teaser for its first studio album “Power of Destiny” on V Live on Tuesday, ahead of its Nov. 19 release.

The 58-second clip offers a short preview of the title track “Spring Breeze,” with a video showing all the band’s 11 members one by one. The audio snippet features the sound of a clock ticking and a piano-heavy intro, later joined by the soulful voice of member Bae Jin-young.

Wanna One was formed through the 2017 competition show “Produce 101 Season 2.” The upcoming album will be its last, as the group is scheduled to disband on Dec. 31

Monsta X has a moment with “Shoot Out”

Monsta X has been busy lately thanks to its latest hit “Shoot Out,” and member Minhyuk said he felt an inexplicable feeling of joy when he encountered other singers humming along to the group’s song.

“As a singer, I feel good that fans say they like our music and critics give us good reviews. But I am most thrilled when fellow singers say so,” he said during a solo V Live broadcast on Tuesday.

Monsta X, formed in 2015, is notably rising in the global music scene with its second studio album, “Take 1:Are You There?,” released in October.

On Nov. 9, the group released an English version of the title song “Shoot Out” ahead of its scheduled performances at the upcoming iHeartRadio Jingle Ball events in the US. Monsta X will become the first K-pop act to perform at the annual tour.

Park Shin-hye sends greetings from Taipei

Actress Park Shin-hye made a surprise appearance on V on Tuesday, giving fans a much-needed update.

“I am in Taipei now (…) will be flying back to Korea today,” said Park during a V Live broadcast titled “Hello Taipei.”

Although she did not reveal why she was in Taiwan, the actress did fill fans in on her upcoming TV and film productions.

“I will be shooting ‘Alhambra,’ probably, till early December, then the new movie ‘Call’ from January,” she said.

Park is in the midst of shooting a fantasy-romance series, “Memories of the Alhambra,” which is to air its first episode on Dec. 1 on cable channel tvN. Actor Hyun Bin has been cast as her male counterpart.

“Call” is rookie Korean director Lee Choong-hyun’s thriller film, expected to premiere next year.
