Jennie of Black Pink will host her own solo debut countdown broadcast on Naver’s V Live, an hour before the song’s release slated for 6 p.m., Monday.

YG Entertainment announced the Black Pink star’s countdown broadcast “JENNIE ‘SOLO’ COUNTDOWN LIVE [ALL ABOUT JENNIE]” on its official blog (www.yg-life.com), Saturday.

Jennie, who is known for her active communication with fans, will share her excitement with fans ahead of her official solo debut. She will introduce and explain the new song and take questions from fans.

Titled “Solo,” Jennie’s first solo single marks the first-ever solo effort from the YG Entertainment quartet. Composed and penned by Korean-American songwriter Teddy Park, “Solo” is a pop-infused hip-hop track with hard-hitting lyrics.

Jennie’s solo track will be showcased for the first time onstage at Black Pink’s Seoul concert this weekend.
