Leo of Vixx goes live on V on birthday

Leo of Vixx held a birthday V Live broadcast on Saturday, as he turned 28.

“I turned on the V app today because it may be hard for me to find time once the musical ‘Elisabeth’ starts running,” said the vocalist of the K-pop boy band.

Leo, who uses his real name Jung Taek-woon as a musical actor, is cast in the role of Der Tod, or the Death, in the local production of the original Viennese musical, slated to open on Saturday at Blue Square in Seoul. This is his sixth musical undertaking.

“After this? I’ve got to practice. Not much time left before the premiere,” he said.

Sowon introduces GFriend’s new pet dog

Sowon of K-pop girl group GFriend took to V Live on Saturday to break the news that the group’s got a new furry friend -- a 2-month-old male puddle. “He’s a silver puddle. He looks black now because he’s a baby, but he will turn silver growing up,” Sowon said.

She revealed that the puppy’s name is “munji,” which means dust in Korean, and will be living in the house where the group’s six members live together.

“You may be seeing munji on V from time to time,” she said.

NCT Dream boys have fun with viral bunny ear cap

NCT Dream, a subunit of S.M. Entertainment’s boy band NCT, appeared on V Live on Saturday, all wearing cute bunny hats. Moving the rabbit ears by pinching on paws dangling from the hat, the bandmates had a fun time together playing jokes and games.

“It’s been a long time since seven of us gathered for V,” members said.

Consisting of only teenage members of NCT --Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisun -- the subunit released its second EP “We Go Up” in September. It will hold a concert, “NCT Dream Show,” for five days from Dec. 1-5 in Seoul.
