Key of SHINee gives a shout-out to EXO for the band’s overwhelming success on the KBS network talk show “Happy Together.”

S.M. Entertainment -- more popularly referred to as “S.M.” -- has been the home ground of South Korea’s biggest pop stars since the beginning of the K-pop industry, from first-generation “idols” H.O.T. and S.E.S. in the ’90s to their successors Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Red Velvet and more recently NCT.

The upcoming episode of “Happy Together” treats the audience with a slew of S.M. stars including Key, BoA, EXO’s Baekhyun and Sehun, and NCT’s Taeyong and Jaehyun.

In a snippet of the episode released Wednesday, Key tells the show’s hosts that “EXO practically built S.M. Entertainment’s new corporate building” with the 2013 hit “Growl.”

He humbly added that SHINee had contributed “about four elevators” with 2009’s “Ring Ding Dong.”

S.M. Entertainment moved its headquarters to Cheongdam-dong in Seoul’s southern district of Gangnam in 2015.

The full episode will air Thursday at 11 p.m.
