EXID is gearing up for a return to action following Solji’s hiatus due to health issues. The album will be Solji’s return album and the most EXID-like album, according to Banana Culture Entertainment.

The singer’s return comes nearly two years since she began having health problems. Solji decided to take a breather after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, opting to focus on her health.

But she proved her vocal prowess remained intact by setting a record of five consecutive wins under the alias “Dongmakgol Girl” on “King of Mask Singer” in October. Despite intense competition in November, EXID is likely to secure its position as the hot girl group once again with the return of Solji.

EXID, which debuted in 2012, climbed the charts with “Up & Down” in 2014. The group has been operating as a four-piece group during Solji’s recovery, releasing the single “Lady” in March.
