Golden Child has been nominated for the 2018 Europe Music Awards.

Representing the act, Woolim Entertainment said Sunday that the K-pop boy band joined the list of nominees for the award show’s best Korea act category, alongside acts like Cosmic Girls, (G)I-DLE, Loona and Pentagon.

Past K-pop winners for the category include EXO, B.A.P, BTS and GFriend.

Having debuted in August last year with its first EP “Gol-Cha!” the 10-piece act recently released its third EP “Wish,” featuring lead track “Genie.”

The ceremony, which features categories based on genre and region, will air live from the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain on Sunday.
