Crush revealed that his ideal type was Irene of Red Velvet.

The popular R&B singer-songwriter was asked about his ideal type on MBC’s “Radio Star” talk show on Wednesday.

He answered, “Someone who works hard,” but the program’s host Kim Gu-ra teased him, saying, “That’s too abstract.”

Then Crush got more specific and named Irene of Red Velvet, sharing an episode about how he got smitten by the singer’s beauty.




“When I was promoting as a duo with Zion. T, Red Velvet was also promoting at that time. She was walking across in front of me, and I’ve never done anything like that before, but I literally said, ‘Wow she’s gorgeous’ out loud,” Crush said.

“I didn’t mean for her to hear me, but I was wearing in-ears and I couldn’t hear my voice,” he added.

According to Crush, Irene just laughed and passed by.

Crush is holding a two-day Seoul concert titled “2018 Crush on You Tour: Wonderlost” from Nov. 3-4. The singer will go on a North American tour starting Toronto on Nov. 21 with stops in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Jose and Seattle.
