S.M. Entertainment holds perhaps the best Halloween costume party each year, where we get to see K-pop stars posing as scary fictional characters for the elaborate dress-up holiday.

The party is attended by nearly every star at the label, as well as some not even signed to the firm. While we await the grand event this year on Halloween evening, let’s take a look at some of the more memorable costumes from past parties.

Yuri and Yoona as Mickey and Minnie

Yuri and Yoona portrayed classic Disney characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse in 2015. They re-enacted the couple throughout the party, holding hands and posing together. It’s no stretch to say the Girls’ Generation duo formed the best couple that Halloween.

Taeyeon as Nemo

Taeyeon went as one of Disney’s most famous fish: Nemo, of 2003’s “Finding Nemo.” In an orange-and-white striped hoodie, the Girls’ Generation star pulled off the clown fish look perfectly.

Yunho and Changmin of TVXQ

Yunho and Changmin portrayed Roronoa Zoro and Ace from popular Japanese manga series “One Piece,” respectively, though at different parties. Changmin dressed up first in 2015, and Yunho was the green-haired pirate in 2017.

Chanyeol as Iron Man

Chanyeol made quite a statement as a Marvel fan last year. Covered head to toe in an Iron Man suit, he was completely unrecognizable behind the mask.

Red Velvet as Pooh

This is when Red Velvet was still a quartet, before Yeri joined the band. All four decided to go as Winnie the Pooh for the 2014 party. Nothing says love like matching costumes.

Chen and Yeri as Harry Potter and Hermione

Any character from the “Harry Potter” series makes for an instant Halloween classic! Chen of EXO and Yeri went as Harry Potter and Hermione, respectively, in 2015. With wands and broomsticks in hand, they could easily pass as everyone’s favorite pals from the wizarding world.

Krystal as Edie Sedgwick

Krystal of f(x) totally rocked as Andy Warhol’s muse. It should come as no surprise that Krystal, known for her chic fashion sense, would dress up as the ’60s style icon.

Sulli as bloody Alice

(S.M. Entertainment)
Sulli went as a scary version of Alice from classic fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland” in 2015. Her face, hands and dress were covered in blood -- or maybe red paint -- to complete the creepy look. Who knew you could be scary and adorable at the same time?

Key of SHINee -- every year

Key is the master of disguise. Some of his best Halloween costumes include Marge Simpson of “The Simpsons,” fast-food mascot Ronald McDonald, Edward Scissorhands from the eponymous Tim Burton film and the Joker from the “Batman” series.
