K-pop boy band Monsta X took the top spot on SBS MTV’s “The Show,” as the group returned with the latest song “Shoot Out” on Tuesday.

Monsta X thanked all the group’s management agency, Starship Entertainment, and fan group, known as Monbebe, soon after getting the trophy. “We returned after our world tour, and we feel so thankful to our fans all over the world who are always supporting us.” The group was selected as “The Show choice,” awarded to the winner in “The Show.”

Monsta X expressed gratitude once again through the management agency. “We’d like to thank and share this happiness with all the members, the Starship family, staff and our families who undergo hardship for us. We will do our best, so as to have this experience as a common affair! Thank you Monbebe for supporting us to win first place,” said Hyungwon of Monsta X, who was also a special guest host of “The Show” alongside regular host Jeno from NCT and Jang Ye-eun from CLC on Wednesday.

The new album title “Shoot Out” represents the main concept of the album. Trap beat, rock and future bass sounds are exquisitely mixed with the impressive hook and melody to build dramatic excitement.
