Actor Park Hae-jin is embarking on yet another philanthropic project.

After posing for a 2019 charity calendar to benefit Korean firefighters, Park is setting out for a photo shoot and plans to donate half the proceeds to help single mothers.

In this photo shoot, to be undertaken in collaboration with Studio Newbin, Park will pose as French diplomat and author Romain Gary, who also wrote under the pen name Emile Ajar. Gary was the only author to have won the Prix Goncourt, a French literary award, under two names.

Photos and video featuring Park as Gary will be released on Naver’s TV cast, YouTube and China’s iqiyi.com.

Park is slated to hold a fan event in Japan on Friday.
