Twice will perform its new single “Yes or Yes” at the 2018 MGA, a new music awards show hosted by MBC Plus and Genie Music, as the girl band is gearing up for its long-awaited release.

On Tuesday, MGA announced that the K-pop act, which is set to hold a showcase for its new album, also titled “Yes or Yes,” in early November, will stage its first televised performance of the new song at the awards show on Nov. 6 at Incheon’s Namdong Gymnasium.

Twice recently dropped hints about the contents of its sixth EP on social media by releasing a teaser image and details about the lead track. The new single is an upbeat, bubbly dance pop number that will enchant many K-pop listeners, the act’s agency JYP Entertainment said.

The album marks the group’s third record to be released this year, following “What is Love?” and “Summer Nights,” which came out in April and July, respectively.

Ahead of the showcase, which will take place at the KBS Arena in Seoul on Nov. 5, Twice will hold a Halloween-themed fan event titled “Once Halloween” on Oct. 28 at Yonsei University in Seoul.
