V and J-Hope held a live broadcast from Paris Sunday morning (Korean time), during which J-Hope made a heartbreaking confession on behalf of bandmate V.

“I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say this but do you guys know that V cried yesterday?” J-Hope told fans, making V visibly embarrassed.

“You can’t say that on air,” V responded.

“You cried yesterday, didn’t you?” J-Hope insisted on making his point clear. “To tell you guys the truth, Taehyeong (V’s real name) cried a lot yesterday because he was upset.”

“What happened was that I felt a bit frustrated at myself for not being able to voice all the things I wanted to tell fans because the cold left me with a frog in my throat,” V explained. “When we’ve gotten such a warm welcome (from fans in Paris).”

“He cried a lot actually and it once again made me realize how much V takes his job seriously,” J-Hope chimed in. “I can understand his frustration ? not being able to sing when you want to.”

V caught a terrible cold during the band’s stay in Paris.
