Rookie girl group IZ*ONE is slated to appear on JTBC’s hit entertainment show “Idol Room” later this month.

The taping is scheduled Wednesday and the episode is set to air the following Tuesday. It will mark the group’s first variety show appearance since its inception in September, at the conclusion of Mnet’s talent show “Produce 48.”

Members of the group said they were excited and even honored to meet hosts Jeong Hyeong-don and Defconn and promised fans that they would deliver their best performance. Their debut album, “COLOR*IZ,” is slated for release in late October and promotional activities are just getting started.

The group’s Japanese members have said they will have questions for the hosts, as they consider the hosts important “Korean Wave stars.”

“Idol Room” has drawn praise from viewers for the amazing chemistry between its hosts and guests.

The episode featuring IZ*ONE will air Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
