Zion. T’s new single “Hello Tutorial” has swept local charts upon its release on Monday evening.

Representing the act, The Black Label said Tuesday that the song, which is the lead track off the singer’s new EP “ZZZ,” has topped seven music streaming charts in Korea including Melon, Bugs, Mnet and Genie.

Featuring Seulgi of Red Velvet, “Hello Tutorial” emphasizes feel-good melody and breathy vocals of the two artists while going light on heavy synths. The musician explained the song as “a well-made romantic comedy that is likely to premiere during the holidays.”

The album also includes songs “Sleep Talk,” featuring Oh Hyuk, and “Malla Gang,” featuring rapper E. Sens, as well as “Ideal,” “Uh Huh” and “Untold Story.”

Having debuted in 2011, Zion. T made himself known in the scene with his unique rhythm and blues and jazzy sonic style. He also has numerous hits under his belt such as “No Makeup,” “Yanghwa Brdg” and “$ponsor,” and has collaborated with veteran singer Lee Moon-se for another chart-topper “Snow” in December last year.
