It seems Jimin of BTS has a special place in his heart for the band's international fans, or "ARMY" as they are collectively called.

Jimin went live on Naver’s V Live on Saturday, sharing his thoughts about his international fans.

“I know we say it all the time in interviews, but I still can’t get over how we have so many fans overseas who love and support us despite the language barrier,” he said. “It’s incredible. I mean it.

“We travel to so many countries -- from Japan to Southeast Asia to South America, North America,” said Jimin. “Everywhere I go, every time I’m up on the stage, it’s surreal.”

Because for fans overseas, there isn’t as much access to BTS events, Jimin said he finds it admirable that his international fans can support the group without knowing if they’ll ever get to see a live performance.

Jimin said this unconditional support from international fans makes him “so thankful” and “want to try harder.”
