Goo Hara was questioned by police on Tuesday over the allegation that she assaulted her boyfriend.

On Tuesday, around 3 p.m., the singer spoke to reporters in front of Gangnam Police Station before undergoing investigation. It marked her first public appearance since her boyfriend accused her of assault on Sept. 13.

Asked who started the fight, Goo answered, “The point is not about who hit first. This will be revealed after the police investigation. I will answer everything sincerely during the investigation.”

She was wearing a crimson T-shirt and a white ball cap. Her face and arms were partially bandaged and showed what appeared to be bruises and scars.

The boyfriend, who is believed to be a hair designer, claimed that he had been involved in a physical scuffle with Goo after he tried to end their relationship. During a media interview, he said the fight was one-sided and he had not been violent against Goo. He added that the scuffle had resulted in scars on his face.

Goo refuted his claim, saying that the fight had involved both sides. She has reportedly been receiving hospital treatment for physical injuries since the incident.

The scuffle has since snowballed into a full-fledged controversy. Goo’s boyfriend underwent police questioning on Monday.
