Lee Hong-gi, the lead singer of the rock band F.T. Island, recently announced that he would release a solo album Oct. 18.
The untitled record will be the singer’s first solo album in nearly three years. His solo debut album, “FM302,” came out in 2015, and the singer is promising a different sound this time around.
“This album will contain a lot of compositions that I’ve wanted to do as well as trendy songs,” Lee said in a teaser clip uploaded to his Instagram page. “There are experimental and unfamiliar elements, which I thought over, but I think it will be fun when you listen.”

The singer also said he was in training to enhance his on-stage movement for the title track, adding that the addition of more movement to his work had been solely his decision.
