BTOB Eun-kwang sends handwritten letter from military

Boy band BTOB’s leader, Seo Eun-kwang, greeted fans with a handwritten letter for the first time since he enlisted in the military.

The letter was uploaded Saturday via BTOB’s official social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram.

“Hi Melody!” the letter began. “I’m trainee No. 65 Seo Eun-kwang.

“After reading the internet letters, I’m so relieved to know that my fans and (bandmates) are doing well,” he wrote. “I’m doing very well too, with my new friends and especially with Doo-joon, who is helping me out a lot.”

Highlight’s Yoon Doo-joon enlisted in the same training unit Aug. 24.

Seo also mentioned in the letter that he had unexpectedly become the leader of his training unit.

“I guess I’m a leader again,” he wrote.

The popular boy band’s leader enlisted in the military Aug. 21, and BTOB will continue with its remaining six members. The band has yet to say when it will return to the stage.
