Lee Hong-ki of FT Island will be resuming his solo activities after a three-year hiatus.

According to his agency FNC Entertainment, Lee plans to release his second solo EP in October.

Lee debuted as a solo artist with the EP “FM302” in November 2015. The title track “Insensible” demonstrated Lee’s powerful vocals in a style that was different from what he had shown as the main vocalist of FT Island.

Lee’s solo track seemed to focus more on showcasing the color of the artist himself.

Lee recently participated in multiple TV programs including the Mnet audition program “Produce 48,” in which the singer appeared as a gentle yet strict vocal trainer as he coached trainees.
