Ju-ne of iKon shared his hopes to become an author someday, in a recent interview alongside a photo shoot for Dazed Korea.

The boy band member who enjoys sharing his poems with fans via social media said, “I hope to write my own book someday, but not now. And before publishing my own, I want to share my writings with people.”

The photos released by the magazine feature the 22-year-old idol star looking more mature than ever. Although not wearing glowing outfits, his face appears to shine with the confidence that has made Ju-en one of the most charismatic young idols today.

Having made his very first TV appearance in 2011 as an early teen, Ju-ne joined iKon in 2015, raking up an enormous international following with hits like “Love Scenario” and “Killing Me.”

After its latest album, “New Kids: Continue,” was released on Aug. 3, the band kicked off its “iKon 2018 Continue Tour” on Aug. 18 at Seoul’s Olympic Park Stadium. The band will perform in Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Hong Kong from September through November, as well as other destinations it has yet to reveal.
