A documentary video about G-Dragon, featuring his latest solo concert, will be released on YouTube Originals in early September.

YG Entertainment, representing Big Bang, said Thursday that the video, titled “Kwon Ji-yong Act 3: M.O.T.T.E,” would be available on the premium version of the video-sharing platform as of Sept. 5.

On Thursday at 9 a.m., the agency released a trailer on Big Bang’s official YouTube channel. It started with the question, “Who am I?” and showed G-Dragon appearing to be deep in thought.

According to the agency, the documentary focused on the man Kwon Ji-yong rather than the star G-Dragon. The intention was to show Kwon’s human side -- as a person who wants to be loved as he is, even though he is already loved across the globe as G-Dragon.

G-Dragon released the solo album “Kwon Ji-yong” last year and completed a world tour, performing in 29 cities across the globe and attracting 654,000 fans. The singer is currently serving in the military, a requirement for all able-bodied South Korean men.
