Sunmi is the new face of jeans brand Buckaroo.

The singer will represent the brand alongside actor Yang Se-jong. An official at Buckaroo said Sunmi looks good in whatever jeans she wears and her versatility was what landed her the modeling gig.

Modeling for the brand is seen as a prestigious position for young actors and actresses in the South Korean entertainment industry. Previous Buckaroo representatives include Shin Hye-jeong from AOA and Kwon Na-ra from Hello Venus.

In a new promotional photo, Sunmi looked chic in a leather jacket and a pair of black boots, with her red lips completing a stylish ensemble.

More photos will be published in the October and November editions of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.
