MXM’s first full-length album “More Than Ever” released on Aug. 14 comes with not one but two lead tracks.

The music video for “Checkmate” comes a week after the release of the music video for its first lead track “Ya Ya Ya.”

“Checkmate” is a groovy hip-hop track with lyrics that compare the process of falling in love to playing a game of chess.

Im Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun are former contestants of Mnet’s audition show “Produce 101” The two debuted as a hip-hop duo in September 2017 under Brand New Music.
