iKON released the last of the group’s “New Kids” trilogy on Aug. 2, following its breakthrough hit “Love Scenario” in January.

The lead track “Killing Me” allowed the seven-piece boy band to retain its place atop major music charts, and earned praise from Billboard, which deemed the song “unlike most K-pop songs.”

Following the release of the album, the hashtag #iKONisKillingMe trended on Twitter worldwide.

The performance video of “Killing Me” was unveiled Monday, quickly gaining multimillion views on video-streaming platforms including YouTube and V Live.

Shinhwa releases teaser for ‘Kiss Me Like That’

Shinhwa released a teaser video for its new lead track “Kiss Me Like That” on Tuesday morning.

The upcoming EP dubbed “Heart,” fronted by “Kiss Me Like That,” lists six tracks in total including “In the Air,” “Level,” “Here I Come,” “L.U.V,” and “Don’t Leave.”

The longest-running boy band in K-pop history will hold its 20th debut anniversary concert of the same title, “Heart, from Oct. 6 to 7 at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena.

Consisting of Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin, and Andy Lee, Shinhwa debuted in March 1998 under S.M. Entertainment.

Seventeen ‘Oh My’ dance practice video

Seventeen dropped its fifth EP “You Make My Day” on Aug. 6, which placed the band within the top 100 on music charts including Melon, Mnet, and Bugs.

Search keywords “Seventeen” and “Oh My” also started trending on the South Korean internet portal Naver.

A dance practice video for the lead track “Oh My” was uploaded to Seventeen’s V Live channel Monday evening.

Shot from a high angle, the video showed the band’s 13 members pulling off the dance choreography.
