Hwang Jung-eum recently purchased a 6.2 billion-won ($5.5 million) building in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul.

The actress bought the six-story building with her mother in March and reportedly completed the remaining payments this month.

Hwang had once said on TV that she had “only 487 won in bank accounts.” However, the actress has since skyrocketed to success, starring in hit dramas such as “High Kick Through the Roof,” “Kill Me Heal Me,” and “She Was Pretty.”

In 2016, she married pro-golfer and entrepreneur Lee Yeong-don. The couple have one child.
