The new album from Super Junior-D&E, the subunit of Super Junior consisting of Donghae and Eunhyuk, has reached the top of the iTunes charts in 14 countries.

According to the act’s agency, Label SJ, the duo’s second Korean EP, titled “‘Bout You,” claimed the top spot on iTunes’ Top Albums charts in countries including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Argentina and Guatemala, upon its release on Thursday evening.

The EP “‘Bout You,” the unit’s first release since “The Beat Goes On” in March 2015, starts with a track of the same title crafted by Donghae.

Veering away from Super Junior’s previous high-energy style, the song ventures into the trap-hip-hop genre, lyrically talking about a man’s far-fetched romance.

The eight-track album also includes the tracks “Rum Dee Dee,” “I Love It,” Livin’ In,” Eunhyuk’s solo track “Illusion (Obsessed)” and “Victory.”

Since its debut in 2011, Super Junior-D&E has been active mainly in Japan. The band released its second full-length Japanese album, “Style,” August 8.

After wrapping up two weeks of promotional activities for its new EP, the act will embark on a Japanese tour from Sept. 7 to Nov. 9.
